Perk Park
F. Buddie Contracting, Ltd. and McKnight and Associates teamed with Park Works (now LAND Studio) for the City of Cleveland's first Design/Build project. This is a functional anchor on E. 12th St. that contributes to the vitality and reflects the investment that has been made there. We were able to respect and deliver on the vision of a nationally known landscape architect while working with the owners to ensure that the project remained on time and budget. We provided counsel so that the materials and design choices made would result in a superior project.
Greenspace at Zone Rec Center
Michael J. Zone Recreation Center was an innovative project that transformed the grounds of the center into a national model for how to redevelop an older urban park into a state-of-the-art ecologically friendly facility. The Greenspace improved and added to play and activity areas with new concepts that included green technology to maintain most of the stormwater on site, and re-introduce natural elements such as gardens.
Urban Community School Early Childhood Center
We recently completed sitework at the brand new Early Childhood Center at Urban Community School. The project included a state of the art playground with a synthetic turf base, accessible walks and parking lot.
